- The number is confidence: what the crowd's money says about this action helping, this epoch. Back it as a 🐮 bull or bet against it as a 🐻 bear, with a stake; the flat fee is $0.25 a trade.
- Take it as a ✋ taker: a small bond into escrow, 2 to 6 weeks, by domain of doing the action, then one verdict with evidence. The validator grades the evidence; the 👑 creator rates it blind, 1 to 3; the pool pays valid verdicts by weight and the bond comes home. Evidence the validator rejects forfeits the bond to the pool.
- Challenge a verdict as a ⚔️ challenger, which any 🐮 bull or 🐻 bear of that epoch may do, inside the 7 days after the reveal, with a bond of your own. Win and the taker's bond is yours; lose and yours goes to the taker.
- The maker, the pool, the bonds: the maker covers what a settlement owes beyond the collateral, the pool pays verdicts, the bonds sit in escrow. Every cent is on the ledger below. One edge case: when rounding leaves the maker a few cents short at a settlement, the last holder paid absorbs them, and it is written on that payout.
- Fund the maker as a 💧 sponsor when the market thins after a loss: the depth follows the maker, and whoever funds it shares the $0.10 leg of every fee pro rata, up to 10 accounts with the creator among them. Trading pauses when the maker cannot bound $1.00 of depth; the creator and every funder are told, with the amount that resumes it, and a top-up of that amount resumes it at once.
- Retire it: the 👑 creator can close his action once nobody holds a position or a take and the last window has closed. The maker goes back to its funders pro rata, the pool's residual to EDM, and the record stays. A market stays open-ended unless he chooses this.
